LLP Filing Requirements

Irrespective of the fact whether the LLP is doing business or not, there are 3 returns for an LLP to file in the year 2012.

1.      LLP Annual Return

LLP Annual Return (Form 11) is to be filed before 30^th May 2012. Non filing of this will attract a penalty of Rs.100 per day

2.      LLP Accounts

LLP Accounts (Form 8) is to be filed before 30^th May 2012. Non filing of this will attract a penalty of Rs.100 per day

3.      Income Tax Return

a.      If the LLP has turn over less than Rs.40 lakhs, Income tax return to be filed before 31^st July 2012

b.      If your turn over is more than Rs.40 lakhs, it is required to be filed before 30^th Sept 2012
